Katrina Kaif, who launched her Bollywood career with a forgettable dud like ‘Boom’, is now, unquestionably, the reigning queen of the town. Despite cultural &linguistic barriers that came her way, the pretty damsel escalated to the top with her sizzling on-screen presence & deadly chemistry with Akshay Kumar in films like ‘Namaste London’, ‘Singh is King’, ‘Welcome’ & the new flick ‘De Dana Dan.’
On her way to the top, she toppled the 1994 Miss World Aishwarya Rai from the throne and snatched from her the tag of “Most Desirable Indian Woman.” She hammered the last nail on Ashes’ coffin, when she stole the Barbie-girl contract from the former. The ageing 36-year old Aishwarya is, surely, losing her sheen and is apparently fuming over her arch-rival for grabbing all the limelight. Earlier this year, the sexy & radiant Katty pipped Ash to become the 1st Indian to have a replica of Barbie doll modelled after her. The Katrina-Barbie doll will hit the toy-stores this December & Aishwarya is so miffed on losing out to Katrina, that smoke seems to bellow out of her mouth as she quips, ”I was asked by that brand(Barbie), not just now but, I think, sinceMiss World , then at the turn of millennium, then when my films were raging success after Cannes and this year was the fourth time actually that I was requested by Barbie to walk the ramp on a particular day. When I couldn’t go, they decided to choose someone else.”
Ha Ha… Look, how desperately, she is trying to salvage some pride, but it’s no denying the fact, that she knows the truth better than us.
